Client Location – Oakhill Road, Ashtead

Client Brief:
To supply a new fitted kitchen with all the associated plumbing required to feed a (Qettle) 3-way Hot boiling tap/filtered drinking water tap/standard hot tap, all to fit within a 600mm under sink cupboard. Plus to fit and install an integrated dishwasher. The new kitchen location had no plumbing supplies.

Dabney Solution:
To carry out a site survey to locate the necessary kitchen water supplies and agree with the client the best approach to solve and complete the instruction. It was decided to expose the necessary pipe-work below laid natural stone floor tiles in a solid concrete floor. Existing limestone tiles were carefully removed and access made through an existing concrete screed. New solid plumbing connections made and all associated pipe-work pressure tested and fully protected against corrosion. The incoming water main to the property was redirected along with the hot feed and linked up to the other properties supplies upstairs. A new isolating stop cock loop and linked back to allow access above ground. On completion a solid MDF boxing was custom built on site with an access hatch to new properties isolating Stop cock. New concrete screed laid to cover and protect new pipe-work below ground.
